Southern Cross Centre
May 2024 Update
Greetings SCC Family!
I feel incredibly blessed to post my first monthly update as the new Senior Pastor of Southern Cross Centre.
Firstly, I would like to personally give thanks and pay my respects to Ps John and Alaine McElroy for laying a strong foundation that I by God’s grace can build upon.
I want to personally thank the SCC family who embraced my wife Danel, my baby boy Michael, and myself into the fold.
I'm Incredibly excited about what the Lord is going to do in this church. God has called us as a collective body to be kingdom builders, to be in deep and loving fellowship, to be active and not reactive, and to be the salt and light in the community he has placed us in.
The Lord has ushered in a new wine, we all have a responsibility and an opportunity to roll up our sleeves and partner with the Lord and his plans for SCC.
Blessings and love,
Kierohn Sims
Senior Pastor

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
This is a wonderful promise we can hold to. With the church going through changes, we can be assured that if we trust in the Lord and as a body submit to Him, He will be with us and guide us.
Blessings and love,
Kierohn and Danel
